Course Structure, Methodology, and Design
The Advanced Program is a comprehensive course designed to develop advanced proficiency in English through systematic exposure to authentic language and structured practice. The Student’s Book (step 1) serves as the core component of the program and is built around carefully selected video material that reflects real spoken English, supporting learners in progressing from an intermediate to an advanced level.
The Workbook complements the Student’s Book with Vocabulary Activities (step 2), Grammar Practice (step 4), Review units (step 5), and Video Practice (step 9). These sections provide controlled and semi-controlled practice, reinforcing language structures, expanding lexical range, and consolidating listening comprehension through contextualized tasks.
The program is further supported by Online Activities, including Picture Drill (step 3), which promotes rapid recognition and automatic response through images and short video clips; the Prezi Platform (step 6), used for interactive progress checks; and Online Practice (step 10), completed on the course website to encourage independent study and continuous reinforcement.
Assessment is based on two components: a Written Tests (step 7), which objectively measures grammatical accuracy and vocabulary control, and a Video-based Listening Tests (step 8), designed to evaluate comprehension, interpretation, and the ability to process authentic spoken English in real-world contexts.
